Frequently Asked

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately returns are not accepted unless a plant is received in poor condition, in these instances photos will need to be provided within 24 hours of receiving the plant. A return label will then be provided for you to return the plant to me and a refund will be provided once I have received it. When returning plants they must always be packaged in the same way they were received.

How are plants packaged?

Most larger plants will be removed from their pot and have their roots wrapped in some soil in a bag to hold in moisture. They will then be wrapped in bubblewrap to keep them warm and protected and the box will then be packed with corrugated cardboard to prevent them moving around during transit. The box is then taped up with fragile tape and marked as perishable to ensure that the postal services know that care needs to be taken when handling and the parcel needs to be received as priority.

Occasionally. I will send some plants potted, if its a small order or the plants themselves are quite small. However all large orders will be sent bare root. to prevent them bashing eachother about in transit. Whether potted or unpotted the rest of the packaging will remain the same.

What postage method is used for sending plants?

I use Royal Mail 24hr tracked postage to send plants and all packages are marked as perishable in line with their terms and conditions.

Do you price match?

If you can provide evidence of another UK based shop selling the same plant at a cheaper price, I will match their price.

Rules:

1) The plant must be of the same size/maturity/variegation as the plant I'm selling, I cannot price match a more mature plant to a less mature one.

2) The evidence must be provided PRIOR to sale, I cannot price match once payment has been made.

3) I can only match to other shops(with websites), NOT to independent collectors.

4) I do not price match postage costs.
